The Vintage Shoe Company collection is a tribute to the original handcrafted footwear designed during the early decades of the H.H. Brown Shoe Company, a tradition in American footwear since 1883.
With meticulous detail, the designers at Vintage have delved into the archives of the venerable 129 year-old company to create a series of shoes and boots based on historic H.H. Brown designs from the late 1800s to the mid 1960s. Each of these traditional styles is hand-sewn and finished with a distressed, time-worn patina and authentic period details to reflect the distinctive character of the originals.
Crafted inside the Cove Shoe Factory, home to American-made boots by Corcoran, Matterhorn, Carolina and Double-H, each of Vintage’s historic styles pays homage to the original 19th and 20th century H.H. Brown designs which inspired them. The four iconic styles that follow reflect the core spirit of the Vintage collection, each one representing a landmark era or defining moment in our country’s history.
A Tradition of American Craftsmanship
At the core of the Vintage collection is our ongoing commitment to the art, precision and beauty of American craftsmanship. Inside our factory in the heart of Pennsylvania, our skilled artisans craft each shoe with soft, hand-washed leathers using time-honored shoemaking techniques, preserving the tradition of incomparable quality excellence that has been a hallmark of H.H. Brown for over 100 years.
